How to Schedule Letters for Future Delivery (UK)

Scheduling lets you write a letter or card while you're thinking of it, then have it posted automatically closer to the date it needs to arrive. It's ideal for:

• Birthdays and anniversaries you don't want to forget
• Seasonal cards sent in one sitting
• Future-dated notices or reminders
• Letters to your future self, or a "time capsule" note

1. Write your letter or upload a document as usual.
2. Choose a delivery date. Pick when you'd like it to arrive.
3. We do the timing. PostPal accounts for Royal Mail delivery times and posts your letter so it lands as close to your chosen date as possible.

You can schedule well in advance, so you can set up months of occasions in one go.

Royal Mail delivery isn't guaranteed to the day, so scheduling aims for your target date rather than promising it exactly. For important occasions, it's worth choosing a delivery date a day or two early to give the post some room.

Scheduling adds a small fee on top of the standard £4 UK letter price, and you'll see the full total before you pay. Everything else is included as normal — printing, envelope, and Royal Mail postage.
